Kayleigh Plant Hire promoted to FORS Gold Standard Accreditation

Leading plant hire company, Kayleigh Plant Hire, has secured the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Gold standard. This is a promotion from silver in 2013 and bronze in 2012. The Transport for London (TFL) scheme aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are accomplishing the highest standards.

In order to achieve the prestigious accreditation, Kayleigh Plant Hire had to adhere to strict criteria regarding staff training, performance measurement, safety of vehicles and fuel emissions levels. The Gold standard recognises the fleet operators at the forefront of their industries, meaning customers can be reassured they are receiving the very best service across Kayleigh Plant Hire’s entire operation.

Kayleigh Plant Hire is committed to not only meeting, but surpassing the standards set out by FORS. The gold standard accreditation is testament to this, with less than 1% of the companies on the FORS scheme having achieved this level of endorsement to date.

Michael O’Donovan, managing director at Kayleigh Plant Hire, commented: “It’s extremely rewarding to see that our hard work over the past 12 months, and for years before that, has come to fruition in our FORS gold accreditation. We take pride in our ongoing commitment to maintain excellent standards and to be seen as an industry leader. We want to continue to operate at the highest level and achieving this gold standard accreditation is the stake in the ground that says we are very much on our way to accomplishing this.”
