Deconstruct UK reports key achievements in 2011.

Deconstruct (UK) Limited, the deconstruction and demolition specialist, celebrate their second year of trading this week and despite the continued pressure on the economy as a whole, they have successfully grown their turnover from £3million to £8million in the last 12 months.
The company has implemented a rigorous training programme across their core disciplines which include CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and CCDO (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives), Asbestos Awareness and Asbestos Management training as well as revealing a strong commitment to occupational health and safety via their own screening programme.
Deconstruct provide services for deconstruction, pre-construction feasibility stages, demolition, asbestos removal and management projects; including some very niche services within groundworks, piling, steelworks and emergency dangerous structures.
Managing Director, Ashley Griffiths said:
"During the last 12 months we have continued to pick up new business within our core specialist areas. More recently, we were able to support the emergency services in making safe many of the dangerous structures left behind following the London riots in August. We have achieved some significant milestones that provide us with a solid foundation for future growth across the retail, commercial, residential and education sectors."
Deconstruct has two group companies: Derisk (H&S) LPP, construction risk management services and also Deploy, a specialist construction recruitment agency.

• 133 Projects completed in year 2 with zero RIDDOR accidents and with a total number of man-hours that exceed 260,000
• 133 projects completed with a combined total value exceeding £8m, this in excess of stated objectives within our initial business plan

• Continued Certification to ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001
• Average waste recycling rate of 99.5% on monitored projects
• 3 year Asbestos Licence granted by HSE
• Waste Carriers Licence
• Accreditation to CHAS, Constructionline, Achilles Building Confidence and a strong commitment to staff training and competence through Skills Pledge.
• Industry Awards: RoSPA Gold, IOSH/HSE Health and Safety Innovation in Small Business Award (Highly Commended).
