Barry Softley, Managing Director from Fibre Environmental Services Ltd and some of his team attended the annual Firecracker ball this weekend at Rudding Park in support of the children's charity Barnardo's. It was a magical evening that took everyone on a journey to the Land of Oz, complete with a full cast of the Wizard of Oz characters.

Barry Softley said "It was an amazing night and great when you know that all the money being raised is for such a great cause. We like to support the charities for children and have been involved in sponsoring various local sports schemes and clubs for young children within our local area".
Yet again the event was a raging success with no final figures confirmed but with the total to exceed £100,000. The Firecracker committee have shown yet again that year on year they are capable of arranging stunning events and raising thousands of pounds for such a good cause. Over 600 people attended the event in what is one of Yorkshire's most popular and successful charity balls.
The crowd were entertained by the legendary Billy Ocean with some of his classic hits like 'Get out of my dreams' and 'When the going gets tough the tough get going'.
Fibre would like to thank everyone on the Firecracker committee for a wonderful evening.
