Silverdell plc ("Silverdell"), the Specialist Environmental Support Services group, is pleased to announce a 63% increase in headcount at its market leading consultancy business, Redhills, as the Company expands further into high quality sectors and wins new business.
Silverdell's Redhills business provides comprehensive specialist management, surveying, consulting and analysis, and compliance services on all aspects of hazardous materials and management. Since the start of 2011, Redhills has increased its headcount from 118 to near 200. Redhills has in part been augmented by the acquisitions by Silverdell of consultancy businesses AH Allen (announced on 1 April 2011) and RDS asbestos management consultants Ltd (announced on 11 August 2011).
The business has also grown organically, having invested in its management team and grown its training capability. The business is cementing its position as a market leader in hazardous materials management and consulting. It works with blue chip and large public sector clients in all sectors, and this year, has secured repeat, long-term contracts with major customers in the media, commercial property and National Government sectors.
