A national traditional retail supermarket operator with a large portfolio of properties throughout the UK. This UK retailer is committed to managing asbestos in its non-domestic properties and provides a safe working & shopping environment for both its employees and the large numbers of the general public who shop within its stores.
The challenge facing retailers of this scale is to comply with current UK asbestos regulations whilst maintaining optimal trading conditions in a highly competitive market place. The portfolio we work within has over 600 properties throughout the UK, varying in size, age and construction.
The contract was secured in 2009 following a robust selection programme. Works commenced with immediate effect starting with a thorough planning stage. Following this initial review Redhills commenced with the commencement of the high priority stores in phase 1 of a large scale nationwide survey programme.
