SERVICE - Asbestos Consultancy Services
BackgroundAs with all retail groups, high street banks have many and varied compliance requirements in relation to asbestos. The Bank have appointed Redhills as their approved asbestos consultant for the past 3 years.
This contract encompasses all aspects of asbestos management including Management and Refurbishment / Demolition surveys, annual re-inspections and air monitoring. The portiolio covered within the remit of the contract includes not only all the high street branches but all commercial office premises and warehousing locations nationwide. The contract also extends to working directly for their sub-contractors for the ongoing branch redevelopment programme.
The Bank contract works in two distinct ways. Firstly, operating directly for the Bank to assist their day to day compliance with Regularion 4 "The Duty to Manage" of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2006). This element of the contract involves carrying out planned and programmed Management and Re-inspecrion surveys across large numbers of branches.
