Asbestos SurveysThe Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 requires a suitable assessment of asbestos to be undertaken that incorporates both identification and assessment. A key stage in managing asbestos is to identify the location, type, condition and extent of any ACM's. This can be achieved by carrying out an asbestos survey.
If you are a duty holder with responsibility for buildings constructed pre-2000 you will probably need a Management Survey to assist in the mangement of asbestos (and protection of your employees health). Or, If you are set to undertake any refurbishment or demolition works, you need to have a Refurbishment and Demolition Survey carried out before works commence.
