Giuseppe Nazzaro has joined Leicester based Cressall Resistors as a design engineer. Giuseppe will be undertaking research and development work on a range of innovative dynamic braking resistors, which can be used in electric and hybrid vehicle and automation applications.

Giuseppe, who holds a BSc in mechanical engineering, has previously worked for the resistor manufacturer Fairfild (Telema Group) in its Milan division. During his five years with the Italian company, he was responsible for the management of the technical department. Giuseppe's experience in research and development made him the ideal candidate when a position at Cressall became available.
As Giuseppe explains, "Joining Cressall meant a significant change in both my professional and personal life. I have recently relocated to England and I believe I have adapted quite easily to the lifestyle here. Cressall is a great place to work, with a very friendly and welcoming environment."
The Italian engineer, who enjoys playing the guitar in his spare time, will be dedicating his expertise to developing new products such as liquid cooled resistors for dynamic braking. He hopes that the results of his research will help improve environmentally friendly hybrid vehicle resistors applications and lower carbon emissions.
