The new state-of-the-art Hunter wheel alignment equipment recently installed at Jet Wheel Tyre's three branches is helping it 'hunt' down the competition and increase revenue.
Cliff Crane, a director at Jet Wheel Tyre, which has sites in Benfleet, Pitsea and Rayleigh, said: "We could immediately see a sharp increase in alignment revenue when the first Hunter HawkEye Special was installed. The Hunter gives full transparency in the way it identifies and highlights recommended alignment adjustment work, via the clear print out."
"We've built our business model based on customer care and product value so that we can build loyalty and repeat business. It's therefore vitally important to us that we can rely on equipment that is reliable, fast and accurate, such as that from Pro-Align."
However, Cliff and his team are not new to alignment; they have worked with various equipment types and technology from the original Dunlop gauges through to hang-on style with light beam then to a PC based hang-on system.
Cliff also explained: "Pitsea and Rayleigh both had space constraints but Pro-Align worked hard to present solutions with ways around the issues. This allowed us to be able to offer a better alignment service at both of these sites. All in all Pro-Align was very professional in everything it did."
A very 'hands-on' Director, Cliff confirms one of his many responsibilities is in the buying of all tyres for the Jet Wheel Tyre group- warehousing all their own considerable stock, which helps to successfully service the three sites needs. One area of the business where he personally has a strong interest is the organisation of motor club open days, some of which are now planned around the new Hunter HawkEye imaging aligners.
