Entries are open for this year's Construction Marketing Awards, These prestigious Awards are run by CIMCIG, and are recognised as a unique and highly regarded measure of excellence in construction marketing and business development.
The awards are an invaluable opportunity for recognition of the creativity, innovation and effectiveness in the implementation and execution of your company's marketing and / or business development strategy. They raise the profile of marketing professionals and their achievements and demonstrate the essential value of marketing as a strategic discipline enabling companies to raise their profile, launch new products and services, win business and deliver corporate strategy.
There are a number of categories, some like "Best use of strategic marketing" are focussed on showcasing high quality planning and management, while others, like "Best use of Advertising", or "Best use of Events & Exhibitions" are more about tactical implementation. Others still, like "Marketer of the Year" or "Best in-house marketing team" are about your people.
Winners last year included Scruffs Workwear, Corus, Travis Perkins, Sitexorbis, Driver Jonas Deloitte, CIB Communications and Lakehouse.
The Construction Marketing Awards 2011 will be presented at a gala dinner in central London in November. This is, as those who have been to previous ones will tell you, a night to remember, and a great way to round off the year. It's an excellent way for companies offering marketing services in the construction sector to entertain.
