The theme of the seminars held on May 13, 14 and 17 was 'total cost of ownership' and focused on the reduction of direct and indirect costs in relation to the freeze drying process.
Fifty delegates from 18 countries attended the seminars at GEA Lyophil's factory in Hϋrth having been transferred by coach from the exhibition.
The seminars explored five topics and associated GEA Lyophil products;
E-STAR® energy saving, LYOFIT® control systems, FDA approval for a product made on a VAPOVAC® sterilised freeze dryer, innovative residual moisture mapping using LYOPLUS® and the improved design of automatic loading and unloading systems, ALUS®.
Feedback from the delegates was very positive with many commenting on the informative content of the programme and the professional way the event was organised.
After the seminars delegates enjoyed a buffet dinner with members of the GEA Lyophil team before being transferred back to the exhibition centre, airport or railway station for their onward journey.
