SEHBAC Commercial has recently completed a complex installation of aluminium windows & doors along with Real World Energy Solutions (RWES) supplied Solar Photovoltaic panels at a primary school in Harrow. SEHBAC Commercial successfully developed and managed a programme that minimised disruption to the school, ensured health and safety and provided a modern, efficient solution to local planning office requirements.

Uxendon Manor Primary School was opened in 1937 and is a busy nursery and primary school catering for nearly 400 children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. When the existing windows and doors came up for renewal, the school's contractor, Trinity Construction Service Ltd, turned to SEHBAC Commercial.

On-going works on a 'live' school environment pose significant challenges. SEHBAC Commercial's premises upgrade and refurbishment programme took pupils activities into account and maintained the highest health and safety standards from start to finish. In total, 118 Smart Aluminium windows and Smart Shopline Range Doors were installed, all in white polyester coated aluminium. A plant-on bar matched the fenestration to ensure the traditional appearance of the buildings was not compromised in any way.

The contract also included the need for Solar Photovoltaic panelling. SEHBAC Commercial has recently incorporated Real World Energy Solutions (RWES) into its portfolio, a partner company that delivers business solutions that focus on energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction; their solar panel product was successfully included in the project. A data logging display was mounted in the school's entrance foyer for the pupils to monitor the system's performance and a subsequent education demonstration for the pupils to learn about solar energy is planned.

SEHBAC Commercial manages major commercial refurbishment projects for clients such as government departments and local authorities, housing associations, property management, schools, commercial contractors and property developers. As SEHBAC Commercial's client portfolio continues to grow in the competitive commercial property market, the company is securing business thanks to high quality traditional PVC-u, aluminium and wood windows & doors, an experienced commercial team and a commitment to developing new solutions in tune with modern efficiencies and construction ideals.
