The Spacer Cable systems are ideal for use at substation exits, where they reduce right-of-way requirements, allow more efficient use of limited space in substations, and provide increased reliability on the critical feeder circuits. Cost savings over a bare wire solution at a typical substation range from $75,000 to $150,000.
