New display distributor for Italian market
2nd July 2010, Maidenhead, UK. Hitachi Europe Ltd, Display Products Group (DPG) has announced the appointment of Special Ind SpA to their Italian distribution network. Based in Milan, with regional offices in Rome and Torino, Special Ind SpA will begin promotion, support and sales for Hitachi DPG's industrial LCD display modules. They join present sales channel partners Avnet Embedded, Mectronic and Silverstar SpA as franchised distributors in Italy.
"We have experienced a strong recovery in sales of LCD display modules during the first half of 2010 and the appointment of a new channel partner gives us a stronger platform to achieve further growth," commented Mark Stanley, Sales and Marketing Manager for Hitachi Europe Ltd, Display Products Group. "We continuously monitor and review the performance of our distribution network in Europe to ensure we have the right design and sales partners. As a result we may feel it necessary and important to restructure and strengthen our distribution sales channel from time to time. Special Ind SpA is a partner who shares our values and dedication in providing customers with the best display solutions. They will be able to offer our Italian customers first-rate technical and logistical support and will deliver a great service."
