VO4HOME the leading, Yorkshire based, voltage optimisation company has seen a recent upsurge in orders and attendant manufacturing levels, which have allowed it to pass on a significant price reduction in the devices' trade cost.

"The economies of scale associated with production costs means that we are now able to pass on a significant reduction in the product's trade price. We see this as an exciting development, and one that will continue as the simply installed devices become more widely used. It is a trend that is being driven by councils, social housing providers, energy companies and domestic energy users who are all looking for proven technologies that deliver cost effective solutions to rising energy costs, whilst simultaneously lowering their carbon footprint. It's very much a win-win situation for the customer", said Geoff Clifton, business development manager for VO4HOME.

The company is keen to support recent government initiatives and schemes to help the country reduce its CO2 emissions and this price reduction is one way in which it is showing support.

VO4HOME's voltage optimisation system is based upon innovative, but established, technology which can, both lower energy use and CO2 output - resulting in an appreciably reduced electricity bill for the customer. As was demonstrated in a current installation, where, prior to installation of the VO4HOME unit, the clients' voltage was supplied as high as 250V, which caused frequent light bulb failure.

Following installation, the VO4HOME unit has eliminated significant damage to electrical equipment including the correcting of failing light bulbs as well as saving the client 18% on kWH's since 2009 and 14% since 2010.

Mr. Clifton added, "VO4HOME is a cost effective solution that delivers concrete savings on energy consumption. Payback is usually within 4 - 5 years, although this time scale lowers with each increase in energy prices - all of which means that it is, and continues to be, a commercially sound investment. Plus it also comes with a 5 year product guarantee."
