Camfil Farr is a global manufacturer of air filtration equipment and associated services and the world leader in the production and development of air filters.
Camfil has been shortlisted for no less than two awards at the InstallerLive Awards 2011.
The InstallerLive awards formerly known as the Corgi Awards have been updated to recognise excellence in more areas, providing the opportunity for more HVAC companies to receive recognition and celebrate excellence and innovation. The judging is carried out by a number of industry experts as well as former winners, who judge nominations based on a criteria for each category and carefully select the shortlisted companies and category winners.
Camfil have been shortlisted for - Green Initiative of the Year With environmental credentials becoming increasingly important, with requirements to use less energy and reduce carbon emissions; Camfil Farr introduced an innovative campaign in 2010 called 'CEASE' (Camfil Energy Awareness Saves Environment), aimed at educating property and building managers about the substantial financial and energy saving opportunities that exist by simply replacing existing air filters with Low Energy Air Filters. The award will recognise the innovation used to tackle corporate energy reduction.

The record number of entries to this year's Green Manufacturer of the Year Award demonstrates that more and more organisations are placing sustainability high on their corporate agenda, and making a greater effort to create a positive impact on the environment. As a global leader in air filtration and clean air, Camfil Farr developed and introduced an internal corporate sustainability programme called CEASE (Camfil Energy Awareness Saves Environment) which has enabled them to achieve over 20% energy savings.
