The energy market in many developing countries has shown a potential dynamic growth. This applies especially to countries in Asia, Africa, South- and Middle America where an increasing high demand can be felt. Here a new era for company founders has begun. GEORG transformer division has recognized this development and has reacted on these changing market situations. A new lamination cutting line type TBA400 ecoline has been launched for the efficient production of low-loss step-lap transformer cores. The TBA400 ecoline represents a top modern and reliable transformer lamination cutting line at very reasonable total costs ensures a fast return on investment. This goal could be achieved by consequent standardization of machine configurations and production under optimum workflow processes in batches.
Minimizing installation costs
Production costs savings of 35% were achieved and GEORG has decided to fully transfer this cost advantage to its customers enabling their start into an efficient and automized transformer production. With this line model there is no necessity for a special machine foundation and a loop pit is not required either. Hereby installation charges and efforts have been reduced to a minimum. The standardized line is equipped with a double head decoiler, one hole punch and one V-notch.
Further with two fixed shears and optionally 2 different basic sheet stopping systems (RS/T and HS/T). The TBA400 ecoline is designed for sheet widths between 40 to 440mm. "The GEORG TBA400 ecoline is our answer to the globally changing energy requirements. The favourable total costs of this reliable and precise lamination cutting line have found a good echo in the target markets already. High production speed and easy operation will be attractive for small and start-up companies" explains Bernd Peter Schmidt, managing director of GEORG transformer division.
