HANOVER, N.H.—Attendees will get a great overview of plasma cutting at the 2011 SEMA show, held November 1st through 4th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, when Hypertherm and special guest Eddie Paul showcase the value of plasma cutting for automotive applications. Hypertherm, manufacturer of advanced metal cutting systems, will exhibit its line of plasma cutting systems at booth #11377.

Eddie Paul, Founder and President of E.P. Industries Inc., will appear at the Hypertherm booth to sign copies of his brand new Plasma Cutting Handbook, which officially goes on sale on November 1st. Eddie has worked for more than 30 years on a diverse range of fabrication projects and coordinated stunts and special effects for more than 100 feature films, including Terminator and E.T.

The Plasma Cutting Handbook is a guide to using plasma cutting systems for custom metal fabrication in racing and car building. The handbook includes instructions on basic, advanced, and CNC cutting procedures, as well as lessons in drafting and designing your own machines. Other sections cover safety procedures, troubleshooting, and professional tips culled from years of experience in Eddie's world-famous shop. Using examples from his own work, as well as from the industry at large, Eddie demonstrates the applicability and usefulness of plasma cutting for the automotive industry.

Hypertherm designs and manufactures advanced cutting systems for use in a variety of industries such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, and automotive repair. Its product line includes handheld and mechanized plasma and laser systems, consumables, as well as CNC motion and height controls and cutting software. Hypertherm systems are trusted for performance and reliability that results in increased productivity and profitability for tens of thousands of businesses. The New Hampshire based company's reputation for metal cutting innovation dates back more than 40 years, to 1968, with Hypertherm's invention of water injection plasma cutting. The company, consistently named one of the best places to work in America, has more than 1,000 associates along with operations and partner representation worldwide.
