European Automation is a supply chain specialist selling new, used, refurbished and obsolete industrial automation spares. Its global network of preferred partner warehouses and multilingual employees enables the Staffordshire based company to provide a unique service within the automation industry.
Although less than three years old, the business has grown massively and currently employs more than 50 people at its Staffordshire Technology Park offices.
The discussion between the Stafford MP and the European Automation team reinforced the necessity for apprenticeships in the region. Furthermore, Lefroy went to emphasize the fact that European Automation's achievements can be credited to the experienced sales teams which communicate with clients in a multitude of foreign languages.
"I was particularly impressed by the focus on outstanding service to customers. Dedicated teams within European Automation speak with customers in the client's native language. I have long called for more foreign language teaching in our schools," Lefroy enthused.
"I was also pleased to hear that the company has already taken on three apprentices, two of whom I had the pleasure to meet. I welcome this positive approach to job creation in Stafford and hope to see more companies following European Automation's example," continued the Stafford MP.
"Meeting Jeremy Lefroy was very important for everybody at European Automation," explained Mark Proctor, the company managing director. "It shows we are doing a good job and comes as an acknowledgement of our efforts to grow and create more opportunities," concluded Proctor.
