Camfil Farr in the UK recently announced it has become the first Gold Sponsor of Clean Air in London (CAL). The 'Clean Air in London' campaign was founded by Simon Birkett and aims to improve standards of air quality throughout London and elsewhere. It works closely with other campaign groups and a wider network of supporters and volunteers to identify and build understanding of the most important issues and encourage decisive action on them.
The Camfil Farr European Clean Air Road Show is in London this week. It will be in Jubilee Plaza, Canary Wharf on 13th and 14th October where Clean Air in London will launch its new campaign to build understanding of indoor quality, initially in London. Leading policy people and campaigners have been invited to the launch.
On Thursday, 13 October, Simon Birkett, Founder and Director of Clean Air in London, will say:

With Camfil Farr's support, Clean Air in London is committed to highlighting: the dangers of poor indoor air quality, where Europeans spend on average over 90% of their working life; and the relative ease with which 90% of pollutants can be removed. If your workplace is air conditioned, make a start by asking your employer one question:
"Does our ventilation system include a regularly maintained air filter complying with European guideline EN 13779 and if not, why not?"
Earlier in the week, the Road Show will be at the Energy Solutions Expo at London Olympia. Camfil Farr will also be at the Energy Solutions Expo at London Olympia on 11th and 12th October on stand: F92 inside the Energy Solutions Expo event at Olympia. Members of the public are invited to visit the Road Show outside the Entrance to Olympia during Energy Solutions Expo.
The Camfil Farr team will be on hand at Olympia to demonstrate how their award winning low energy air filters can help make significant energy savings in buildings. Following the Camfil Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) short movie, the Camfil Farr team can informally demonstrate via live interactive lab stations;

• Removal of damaging ozone gasses
• Visual performance demonstrations
Road Show Live Measurements - Air quality varies over time and depends on the location. Morning air is different from afternoon air. City air is different from country air. Camfil Farr has placed three air quality monitoring stations in different city locations around the world that continuously report real-time air quality back to the exhibition trailer. These values will be compared to local conditions where the trailer is parked.
