A definition of Manual Handling
Manual Handling has been defined as 'any transport or supporting of a load which includes the lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof' by hand or by bodily force. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 is a legislation introduced to us in 1993.
