Camfil Farr were commended for the Air Conditioning Product of the Year for their AHU Low Energy Air Filter at the 8th annual RAC Cooling Industry Awards organised by RAC, the leading source of news, information and analysis for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
The RAC Cooling Industry awards highlighted the leading technical innovations and environmental successes driving the sector. The refrigeration and air conditioning industry faces major challenges. As a huge user of power - 20% of the national grid - the cooling industry is under increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions and tackle climate change. As well as the need for improved energy performance, other environmental issues - such as noise, refrigerants, containment, recyclability and materials - are driving change throughout the industry.
The awards recognise the innovation used to tackle many of these issues.
