The new Guardian Thermaguard Glycol products were developed thanks to the increased demand for renewable technologies. Installers were looking for a product that would protect vulnerable air and ground source heat pump installations, which are more likely to suffer from the effects of freezing, bacterial contamination and corrosion. In order to protect the heat transfer fluid and collector loops, it is necessary to use a specially formulated inhibited heat transfer fluid that covers the requirements of heat pump renewable technologies.

Other renewable sources, such as solar thermal systems, also require chemical water treatment for frost protection and to guard against the high risk of corrosion when water is circulating at hot temperatures around a metal system.

Available in a ready-to-use formulation or as a concentrate - for easy on-site blending to specific frost protection levels - there is a Guardian product to suit all requirements. The comprehensive Guardian Thermaguard Glycol range has a variety of solutions available to protect renewable heating systems in compliance with current building regulations.

Exclusively distributed by Pulsar direct and manufactured to the highest quality, providing reliability and great performance, the Guardian Thermaguard Glycol range delivers value for money, simple solutions directly to the plumbing and heating trade in the UK and Ireland. In these tough economic times installers are looking to save money on basic consumables, without compromising on quality. The Guardian range offers premium products without the premium price tag. All Guardian products are BuildCert and WRAS approved, so installers can have peace of mind whilst offering competitive quotes that allow for greater profit margins.
