JAOtech named as Product Business of the Year by Growing Business Magazine at its Fast Growth Business Award

Redhill, UK, 21 April 2010 - JAOtech has been named as Product Business of the Year by Growing Business Magazine in its prestigious Fast Growth Business Awards after growing sales of its smart bedside terminals ten-fold in 2008-9, shipping over 35,000 units to hospitals worldwide.
JAOtech launched its first terminal in late 2006, offering hospital patients top quality entertainment and communications and care staff access to patient records at the bedside. In its first year, it shipped 3,000 terminals around the world. Now, 35,000 of its terminals are in place in hospitals in the USA, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland and Italy as well as the UK. In 2010, JAOtech sales will be boosted by a major new UK contract and also by its extended international presence with a new sales office in the USA, and customer support centres in Australia, France and the Netherlands.
