A major business centre group is kitting out its key staff with Apple's new iconic ipads - and has already written software to run the business, ahead of the hand-held computer launch in the UK. Bucks Biz, which has office and industrial space across Buckinghamshire, will be using the ipads to show up-to-date space, monitor CCTVs and even control heating. "Every aspect of our business will be run from the ipad," said director Dominic Muscat. "We have been waiting for something like this for a long time and all key staff will have one, with information synchronised with our office-based IT hardware."
The company recently wrote software to run the business from iphones, but says they are restricted because of the size of the screen, while laptops are now "cumbersome". Bucks Biz operates business units across the county, with the majority in Milton Keynes. "Our clients expect up-to-date information and with the ipad our staff will be able to instantly access information," said Dominic. "We're a hi-tech operation that prides itself on helping clients by offering them no-hassle business premises that allow entrepreneurs to thrive.
