Sunquest Information Systems®, a leading provider of healthcare information technology, announced that it was a finalist in the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service for "Best Use of Technology in Customer Service." The awards honor and generate public recognition for the accomplishments of sales, customer service, and call/contact center professionals worldwide. Sunquest was honored for its development of an innovative customer relationship management (CRM) system that integrates sales and support functions. To promote Sunquest's focus on customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction, Sunquest created an end-to-end business solution by combining a CRM system with product configuration, expense tracking, and revenue management software. The customer service system allows customers to find information about Sunquest's products and services and get answers to case-related questions in one location. Customers can also post requests for product enhancements, vote on suggested enhancements, and communicate directly with support representatives as well as with finance and sales.
Sunquest users gain from reporting functionality that makes it easy for them to obtain real-time sales and service metrics. They can also now provide real-time follow-ups with customers and quickly respond to any feedback requiring attention. "The enhanced client portal and the resources provided through it has been one of the most significant improvements for our client base. Our client-facing team has worked in partnership with our customers to make this portal a one-stop location for case management, access to customer training materials, knowledge base resources, and to allow clients to tell us how we can better support them with our products and services," said Mary Mieure, director of client support services for Sunquest. In addition to the online customer service system, Sunquest holds group discussions in annual and regional user group meetings, special interest groups, and individual focus groups working on product development projects to learn about the business and technology issues faced by its customers. "Sunquest is dedicated to excellence in supporting our customers, and we are very pleased to be recognized for our efforts in developing a flexible, customizable, and reliable system that raises the bar related to client experience," said Rob Smalling, Senior Vice President of Customer Operations.
"Combining sales and support into one system has enabled Sunquest to improve customer satisfaction while driving improved customer support efficiencies." The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service awards are governed by a board of distinguished judges and advisors featuring leading business figures. The awards were given in 90 categories, honoring sales and customer service individuals, teams, and departments. The results of the 5th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service were announced in Miami Beach, Florida on Monday, February 21, 2011.
