The GeoSpec2 simplifies core measurements by offering a single instrument to measure standard core parameters such as pore size distributions, BVI, FFI, CBW, porosity, and T2 cutoff. This is achieved through the integration of the NMR hardware with core analysis software provided by Green Imaging Technologies. The software controls the GeoSpec2 instrument, performs calibrations, generates data, and processes it into results and reports with minimum intervention from the user - and without the need for an NMR expert. The GeoSpec2 also incorporates Oxford Instruments' unique Q-Sense technology to provide improved measurements of tight rocks such as shales.
Further advanced versions of the Green Imaging Technologies software are available as options to measure parameters including relative permeability, hydrogen index, diffusion and 2D mapping. The advanced software also allows users to acquire capillary pressure using our patented measurement technique, providing a measured rather than a modelled result much more quickly than any other method.
GeoSpec2 makes special core analysis routine.
Green Imaging Technologies software is available exclusively on Oxford Instruments' hardware, through a partnership agreement between the two companies. This partnership also makes available to the partnership's customers the support services and core analysis laboratory at Green Imaging Technologies in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Please visit our booth at SCA for a full discussion of your core analysis needs.

About Oxford Instruments
Oxford Instruments aims to pursue responsible development and deeper understanding of our world through science and technology. We provide high technology tools and systems for industrial and research markets based on our ability to analyze and manipulate matter at the smallest scale. Innovation has been the driving force behind Oxford Instruments' growth and success ever since the business spun out from Oxford University over 50 years ago, and its strategy is still to effect the successful commercialization of these ideas by bringing them to market in a timely and customer-focused fashion. Oxford Instruments is now a global company with over 1,300 staff worldwide and a listing on the London Stock Exchange (OXIG).
Our objective is to be a leading supplier of next generation tools and systems for research and industry. This involves the combination of core technologies in areas such as low temperature and high magnetic field environments, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray electron and optical based metrology, and advanced growth, deposition, and etching. Our products, expertise, and ideas address global issues such as energy, environment, terrorism, and health, and are part of the next generation of telecommunications, energy products, environmental measures, security devices, drug discovery, and medical advances.
