Mobile Phone Manufacturer Relies on Infor Applications to Optimise Extended Manufacturing Processes and Speedy Availability of Products in EMEA

Farnborough UK, January 16 2012 - Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that mobile telephone manufacturer TCT Mobile Europe has selected Infor10 Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) as part of a re-engineering project of its information systems. This application will help provide a holistic view of demand, supply and finances of the business with the aim of improving its profitability. It also enables TCT Mobile Europe to more accurately align product availability with customer demand.

• TCT Mobile Europe, the former mobile telephone entity of Alcatel, now a subsidiary of the Chinese manufacturer TCL Corporation, annually distributes approximately 20 million products within 81 countries in EMEA under the brand name Alcatel One Touch. This equates to more than 3,000 orders per year for its 200 clients.
• TCT has decided to integrate Infor10 S&OP in order to address the problems associated with its activities in a more automatic manner.
• The Infor application was selected among 12 products available on the market because of its functional richness, its user friendliness, as well as for its ability to be easily and efficiently integrated with the company's existing systems without the need for additional development work. Infor10 S&OP enables TCT to manage all of its data within the framework of a single tool, enabling fast and efficient decision-making about customer orders taking into account forecasts and actual market expectations. Infor10 S&OP enables TCT Mobile Europe to improve forecast accuracy and optimise management of its manufacturing processes in China, which in turn will result in lower transportation costs.
• Within its IT re-engineering project, TCT Mobile Europe has also decided to implement Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine), to improve order and customer management.
