Ideal for small-cell packing stations, the compact system features a unique crimping mechanism that produces more metres cubed (m3) of void fill material per metre squared (m2) of paper used. Efficiency is further maximised by the system's foot pedal and ergonomically designed cutting mechanism that enables the quick, continuous output of paper.

Sealed Air Product Manager, Hans Kriens, comments: "We're finding that companies are continuously striving to minimise cost and maximise efficiency, while still improving operational practices. We're responding to these demands with FasFil® EZ™. It's a system that has been designed to save time, energy and material, and deliver superior product quality."

The system is flexible enough to be used on a traditional floor or table mount and also has the ability to be used in on-line environments over a conveyor belt. It dispenses single ply paper and is compatible with Sealed Air's range of 100% recycled paper. An output length control feature delivers customised paper lengths, eliminating excessive usage of void fill material.

Hans concludes: "The system allows operators to quickly and accurately produce high quality void fill, resulting in less packing time, lower usage of packaging material and reduced levels of wasted material. This can help to improve operational and environmental performance."
