Specialist Engineering Project Management company PROjEN have begun a major pharmaceutical project incorporating the project management, design and build of an Acetone and Industrial Methylated Spirits (IMS) Tank Farm.

The tank farm is being designed to deliver bulk products to an existing process at a Midlands based manufacturing company.
The objectives of the project are to create a safe bunded storage area with tanker access, offloading facilities and associated plant and equipment capable of delivering multiple flammable solvents on demand and effluent storage.
The key aspects of the project are as follows:
• Process, Civil, Mechanical and EC&I Design
• Construction Management, Health, Safety and CDM Support
• DSEAR / ATEX compliance
• Procurement of four bulk storage tanks
• New bunded area and road tanker offloading area
• Process equipment
• Pipebridge to carry process and service pipework and electrical supplies
• Access platform to new tanks and bunded area
Being experienced in the use of 3D Visualisation has given PROjEN the opportunity to use this technique to supply their client with image solutions that match their needs. Lyndon Workman, PROjEN's Project Manager and Health and Safety Advisor comments;

We have established the detail design with Civils pouring concrete this week and have a planned completion date for the project of March 2010".
