New Holland will showcase its dedicated offering of specialist equipment for the quarry, demolition, waste handling and infrastructure industries at the Hillhead 2010 show. The New Holland team will be on the stand in the exhibition's outdoor display area to show visitors how the brand's specialist offering is able to meet the specific requirements and perform the demanding applications of these industries.
Power and stability for the quarry industry
The rugged D180 dozer, displayed with ripping equipment, is built for productivity in the toughest conditions and is ideal for quarrying or demolition work. Its low centre of gravity, just 78cm from the ground, grants exceptional stability. Power steering ensures both tracks operate providing equally outstanding grip and performance when working on a straight line, on a curve or on uneven ground conditions. The powerful Common-Rail engine, developed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT), is designed to optimise performance while minimising fuel consumption and emissions. The ample glazed areas and tapered engine hood ensure outstanding visibility all round and on the cutting edge.
Versatility and productivity in demolition applications
New Holland's specialist equipment for the demolition industry includes the W270B wheel loader and E215B crawler excavator in demolition configuration that will be on display at the show. The W270B wheel loader's superior tractive force combined with the excellent breakout force provides the highest productivity levels in demolition applications. The long wheelbase, wide gauge and intelligent weight distribution ensures high stability in the toughest conditions. The E215B crawler excavator in demolition configuration features specially designed protections and cab guards, software specific for demolition operations and safety systems for swing control and machine stability. These features result in outstanding productivity, serviceability and safety in demolition work. New Holland's offer for the demolition sector also includes a complete line of hammers, crushers, shears and pulverisers.
Robust equipment that can take the harsh conditions of the waste handling industry
New Holland serves the waste handling industry with a wide offering of equipment to handle municipal, industrial and demolition waste, which includes skid steer loaders, dozers, crawler and wheeled excavators, telehandlers and wheel loaders. New Holland's machines in waste handling configuration can be equipped with a wide range of factory fitted options designed to ensure reliable and safe operation in this industry's applications, from sorting materials in transfer stations and recycling facilities to preparation and maintenance of landfill sites. These options include cab guards, enhanced cab air filtering, steel plate protections to front and rear belly pans and to front cylinder hoses, high capacity buckets up to 3m³, wear resistant tyres. High tipping buckets and a long boom attachment enable customers to deal with the exceptional dump heights required in this industry. New Holland's offering for the waste handling sector will be represented at the exhibition by the L185 skid steer loader and W270B wheel loader on show. The display will also include the latest addition to the brand's offering for this industry: a W190B wheel loader in waste handling configuration.
