Hanix Europe Limited has appointed Swedish manufacturer Steelwrist AB as its Europe-wide preferred supplier of Tiltrotators, an attachment that offers excavators greater bucket manoeuvrability and dexterity.
The Steelwrist Tiltrotator acts as a 'wrist' between the arm and bucket of the excavator, providing much greater bucket manoeuvrability compared to excavators fitted with a fixed bucket or quick coupler. It is an extremely powerful tool that enhances excavator efficiency by allowing operators to excavate, tilt, and rotate the bucket, or any other accessory, in one simultaneous operation. A tilt angle of ±45 degrees gives unmatched flexibility that can only be achieved with a Steelwrist Tiltrotator.
Since it was first introduced in Scandanavia in the 1980s, the biggest take up has come from that region where around 90% of 3 to 25 tonne excavators are now fitted with Tiltrotators. The attachment not only offers greater convenience, but also can increase productivity by as much as 30%.
