The future of online marketing will be in the spotlight at a business breakfast seminar being hosted by Peterborough pr and marketing agency Media Matters.

The seminar will offer businesses an overview of the newest online marketing platforms available and suggestions on the most effective to utilise them.

On the agenda for the event on Thursday, September 8 is:

-       Facebook: Why this popular social network is now more relevant to local businesses than ever

-       What's next in social networking for business: Find out what's new on the social media scene and how your business can be one of the first to benefit.

-       Mobile marketing: Smartphones enable customers to connect with us more often and more easily than ever. Is your business taking advantage of the newest technology?

Media Matters' chartered marketer and online marketing specialist Karen McNulty will be presenting the seminar, at Peterborough Exec's Huntingdon Suite, at the East of England Showground. There will also be the opportunity for delegates to ask questions.

"Customers are getting more and more demanding and Internet savvy and it is vital that businesses stay one step ahead," said Karen. "As a pr and marketing agency that's one of the areas we help our clients with - the seminar is our opportunity of sharing that knowledge with a wider audience."

Attendance at the seminar - which includes breakfast - is free but places are limited.
