The former UK produce buying director for Tesco has joined food sector recruitment specialist Henderson Brown as a business consultant.
Peter Fry joined Tesco in 1986 and enjoyed various roles within the buying team, culminating in seven years as UK produce buying director. A move into the international department saw Peter supporting Tesco's global buying and retail operations before he returned to the UK with a brief to improve the quality of produce for Tesco customers. In 2008 Peter began his own business consultancy which saw him working with many of the fresh produce suppliers to the major multiples.
In his new position at Henderson Brown, Peter will be involved in business development and client relationship management. He brings with him a wealth of experience and market knowledge.
