Peterborough PR and marketing agency Media Matters has been awarded a contract to deliver social media training to help boost leisure, arts and cultural activities in Bournemouth.

The contract will be delivered to staff at BH Live, a non profit distributing organisation, tasked with promoting events and activities at six of the town's major venues.

"The organisation sought us out after visiting our website and being impressed with the simple and straightforward way we talked about the whole subject of social media," explained Karen McNulty, Marketing Director.

"Investing time in understanding how to do it properly will pay dividends for the team in Bournemouth and we are delighted they chose us, out of any other company in the UK, to help them!"

Media Matters will be delivering the training later this month. Next month the Lynch Wood-based company stages its next one-day course for businesses here in Peterborough. 'Getting to Grips with Internet Marketing - all you need to know' takes place on Thursday September 29. For more details,  tel: 01733 371363.
