VEKA Recycling is ‘on the ball’ with sponsor deal

Young footballers in Kent are helping to spread the plastic recycling message thanks to a sponsorship deal by local firm VEKA Recycling Ltd.

Jamie’s father, Steve works as an Extruder Technician at VEKA Recycling where significant investment in new equipment is producing high-quality recyclate from post-industrial or post-consumer window frame material suitable for new PVC-U extruded products, closing the recycling loop in the UK.

Simon Scholes, Business Administration Manager for VEKA Recycling commented: “In line with our commitment to investment in new recycling infrastructure, we welcomed the opportunity to also invest in our local community; benefiting local youngsters who will hopefully be the recyclers of the future.”

Established in 2007, the Invicta Lions club enables children aged between 5 and 18 to access football and training by an FA-qualified coach.

A club spokesman said: “As a small club, sponsorship provides a lifeline and helps us to provide affordable football to all. The team sponsorship is very much appreciated, enabling the team to purchase new kit and training equipment.”
