Solar firm steals the show at Ecobuild
Solar roofing firm Ploughcroft have been voted the main attraction and were on the best stand at this year's Ecobuild.
The Yorkshire based company were demonstrating the installation of solar panels as part of the Plumb Center's Practical Installer stand. The day started with a bang with rock star come scientist Brian Cox, presenter of BBC2's Wonders of the Universe opening the Plumb Center's stand.
Managing Director Chris Hopkins said "We are very proud to work with a company as reputable as the Plumb Center. The event was a great success and really helped to promote the Solar Ready service as well as promote training for plumbers and electricians in renewable technology installation.'
Ecobuild, the biggest sustainable building exhibition in Europe, was attended by over 50,000 people making it the biggest show in the exhibition's history.
Ploughcroft attended this event in association with the Plumb Center, who have 600 stores nationwide, as part of their national solar roofing service. The service is aimed at both plumbers and electricians. The Plumb Center now sells a service that entails having the roofing element of a solar service taken care of by Ploughcroft.
