Cordant Security Launches with Major Recruitment and IT Investment

In addition the company has announced that it will be recruiting an additional 350 staff to support existing and new clients, as well as investing heavily in technology to drive additional value and support the new culture of solution collaboration.

Advance Security has today rebranded as Cordant Security with a new website and corporate identity. In addition the company has announced that it will be recruiting an additional 350 staff to support existing and new clients, as well as investing heavily in technology to drive additional value and support the new culture of solution collaboration.

The launch of Cordant Security as a specialist division of Cordant Services builds on Advance Security’s 55-year heritage and reputation for reliable service. The UK’s eighth largest security provider, Cordant Security has over 4,700 staff managing 1,200 sites for 300 customers, with a particularly strong presence in the retail and supply chain sectors. It follows a UK-wide restructuring last year which saw the creation of sector specific service platforms and the internal promotion of key senior members of staff.

 Edward Macfarlane, managing director of Cordant Security, said “We are looking forward to bolstering our already highly able workforce with 350 new recruits from across the UK and developing this talent within the business, building teams that make a difference.  Cordant Security also offers a range of mobile, keyholding and alarm response services in UK towns and cities for out-of-hours security cover, and can provide design, installation and management of a full range of security systems. With a management comprised of professionals experienced in the sector, the company has a client retention rate of over 95%.
