Risk boosts security performance with SmartTask

Risk Management Security Services, a specialist security services business within the private and public sector, has reduced administration for its mobile patrol officers by 60 per cent using an advanced proof of time and attendance tool. In fact, since adopting Skillweb’s SmartTask Security across its growing team of officers the company has achieved a wide range of business and operational benefits that have helped reduce costs, improve customer service and secure new contracts.

The mobile application uses NFC tags to track and log time at locations and checkpoints while an online portal provides live reporting to office-based controllers and the company’s customer. This has streamlined the operational processes of remote security officers in the field and provides the ability to effectively monitor their status and completed activity in real-time. As a result, SmartTask enables Risk’s controllers to have patrol and incident data within a matter of seconds, rather than having to wait up to 12 hours to receive a physical report, so are better placed help inform and advise the patrol team and clients regarding security issues.

Meanwhile, Risk has been able to complete vehicle checks and incident reports electronically since adopting SmartTask, which has resulted in a saving of 50% of printing costs whilst reducing paper usage by 75% in just 10 months. These improvement are expected to increase even further over the next few months as the company switches its alarm activation and attendance reports to the application.
