Unterföhring, 3 August 2011. SimonsVoss Technologies AG has reported group-wide sales of EUR 21 million for the first half of 2011. With this result Europe's leading supplier of digital locking and access control systems exceeds previous years' sales by 21 per cent.
Incoming orders enjoyed even stronger growth, increasing by 26 per cent year-on-year to EUR 22.6 million. Another area of growth was the group-wide workforce. SimonsVoss now employs more than 260 people globally, with recruitment having focused primarily on research & development, sales and production.
SimonsVoss is looking assuredly towards the second half of the year, and is confident that business prospects will remain positive "New product production ramp-up of SmartHandle 3062 and digital locking cylinder 3061-SC has been very positively perceived by our customers. We are expecting to supply our customers with the one millionth digital lock by the end of the year," explains Hans-Gernot Illig, CEO of SimonsVoss Technologies AG.
