Munich company strengthens leading position in market for digital locking and access control systems.SimonsVoss Technologies AG has reported group sales of EUR 39.2 million for the 2010 business year. With this result Europe's leading supplier of digital locking and access control systems beats its sales for the previous year by 5 per cent.

Performance in the 1st quarter of 2001 was also extremely successful. Compared to the same period last year, incoming orders for the group increased by 24% to EUR 11.3 million, while sales during the period grew by 15% to EUR 10.2 million. SimonsVoss currently employs 250 people throughout the group, with new staff being taken on primarily in the sales area.
SimonsVoss is also optimistic about prospects for the rest of 2011.
"We are anticipating additional strong growth from domestic and foreign markets as a result of ramping up production of our new products, namely the SmartHandle 3062 and the new 3061-SC digital locking cylinder with smartcard functionality, during the second quarter. The feedback from the market so far has been extremely positive," explains Hans-Gernot Illig, CEO of SimonsVoss Technologies AG.
