In a statement from the company, Mark Felix the company's MD stated that two emails were received by Travelrobe with reference to the use of the Mickey Mouse image but that none were actually from who they believe to be the rightful owners of the image.
Based on the well known cartoon Mickey Mouse, it is conceivable that Disney might be the owners of the image, however Travelrobe went on to say that if they were ask to cease using the image by the rightful owners they would do so immediately.
While the reason for using the image was to draw attention to the site, it would appear that it has drawn the wrong attention but the company say they are confident that they will be able to keep using the image for a very long time.
The site has gone through a few changes since it was launched earlier this year and it also appears to be gaining a fair amount of traffic. As companies continue to upgrade their websites in the airport parking travel sector so to will Travelrobe with the intention to get a bigger share of the current market.
The company's main site offers a large variety of travel options including cheap hotels, cheap flights, car hire, cruises, vacation packages worldwide, for information on these options visit the company's main site.
