Samsung Galaxy Note is aiming to revive the five-inch tablet computers segment, with coming in the avatar of a smart phone. The handset also seems to give new meaning to 5inches category.

When Apple unveiled their tablet PC iPad, they were placing it as a widget intended to bridge the opening between the existing smart phones & the notebooks in the marketplace. Even though, at that time some critics believed that these 10-inch widgets would be too heavy and big to easily carry around, therefore gadget producers started churning out 7-inch tablet computers. However, even then some critics thought that seven inches was again not appropriate for a gadget to carry around. Well, someone tried doing the impossible, and that someone was Dell, who even released the Streak 5. Dell was making a huge mistake at that moment. Samsung Galaxy Note deals will surely excite your senses.
Regrettably for Dell, the Streak 5 was not merely gigantic in size but a massive letdown as well. Dell's lack of prominence for churning out high-quality smart phones united with the fact that the Streak 5 was, a matter of fact, and a striking ordinary thingamabob resulted in Dell throwing away the unsuccessful doohickey some months later. Hence, should we believe that the five inches widgets are over for good? Well, the South Korean electronics giant is taking the initiative.
At the second Samsung is making efforts to put life into the 5-inch tablet category with their huge Galaxy Note. Amazingly opposite to the Dell, Samsung possess a huge fans group in the smart phone section & on paper at least the new doohickey seems promising.
Still, the widget's size is a bit comical! And, we are using the comical since the handset; fairly opposite of the Dell Streak is conveniently identifiable as a smart phone. So, should we cross out the slate portion? This query must be answered by the users of this exciting widget, and not just by us!
