Leading North-east Asbestos Removal Company Fibre Environmental Services Ltd has appointed a new key member to their management team.
Tony Birchall has joined the team as Health and Safety Manager to support the company's continuing growth in this area.
Fibre currently employs 40 members of staff who work around the country on various contracts.
Mr Birchall has been a Health and Safety professional since 1996, when he completed his Nebosh general certificate in Health & Safety, since then he has gone on to complete a diploma in Safety, Health & Environmental Management and has been a Health & Safety trainer and NVQ assessor. Tony's last appointment saw him increase the employees Health & Safety performances levels by 30%.
With his high calibre of Health & Safety experience and training, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Fibre, which will be beneficial to all our clients across the country.
His role will see him lead and develop the H&S division of the business and he will be working closely with all our operatives and supervisors on site to ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety at work.
Tony Birchall said: "I am excited about my new role at Fibre and I'm keen to introduce into all of Fibre's operational practices and site management, easy to follow Health & Safety guidance with measured results.
Mr Birchall has relocated from Crewe to Yorkshire to take up this position.
